With over 25 years as a development professional, Rob Hilbert is the President of the Iowa PBS Foundation. He oversees all aspects of development including annual giving, corporate support, foundation support, major and planned gifts and board management. Rob was named the national C. Scott Elliott PBS Development Professional of the Year in 2019. He has had his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) accreditation since 2002. In 2015, he was one of eight people in North America to receive the International Advanced Diploma in Fundraising with Distinction from AFP in the United States and the Institute of Fundraising in the United Kingdom. Rob has served on boards of the Central Iowa Association of Fundraising Professionals, Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council, and LEAVE A LEGACY® Iowa. Rob is a frequent speaker on fundraising and nonprofit management both locally and nationally. Rob holds a degree in Public Relations and Communications from the University of Northern Iowa.
