Tri-Center CSD

Tri-Center is an integral part of the communities that it serves and provides a safe place for all students to learn and grow. Nestled in the rolling hills of southwest Iowa cropland, Tri-Center’s 40-acre campus is located near the I-80 and I-880 interchange and serves approximately 750 students Pre-K through 12th grade on one main campus.  Tri-Center also offers 3 year old preschool and daycare year round. The district employs over 100 staff members who take part in educating and serving students from Neola, Minden, Persia, Beebeetown, and the surrounding areas. A member of the Western Iowa Conference, Tri-Center is 25 miles northeast of Omaha/Council Bluffs metro and 100 miles west of Des Moines, IA, and has had 9 teachers earn the competitive Lakin Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. The district often becomes the central organization to aid families and towns in emergencies, like in the tornado relief efforts after the April 26 EF3 tornado that devastated Minden, IA. The district has a long list of successes both in and out of the classroom, but the most recent is being named the 2024 Class A State Football Champions.  Cultivating positive relationships is the motivating factor behind decisions, and a wide array of academic offerings and extracurricular activities and clubs is proudly offered to give every student a place to belong and succeed.
