What We Do

Promise 4 Paws Senior Dog Sanctuary is located in Council Bluffs, IA. We are a home, not a shelter. Our mission is to provide a loving, home-like environment for senior dogs to live out their golden years. We strive to keep the dogs' lives as normal as possible and provide them with the best medical care and love they deserve. You won't find our seniors in kennels. Our 30 dogs are free to roam around the house and backyard, take naps on our big comfy couches and recliners, play and socialize, and visit out in the community. 

Our P4P Senior Dog Sanctuary is staffed by volunteers 24/7 in case medications need to be administered in the night or there is a medical emergency needing vet care. 

Our small nonprofit is funded by donations; monetary and needed supplies.
