What We Do
The mission of the Partners in Exceptional Care organization is to provide support and further the mission of Clarinda Regional Health Center through volunteered time and fundraising efforts to enhance the health and welfare of the communities it serves.
Partners in Exceptional Care is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation organized under the Federal Tax Code as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations received are used to benefit Clarinda Regional Health Center and the communities it serves.
Accomplishments include:
- We completed the construction of a state-of-the-art Physical Therapy building, a second operating room, and a new Infusion Center that provides a private entrance for immunocompromised patients.
- Purchased and fully remodeled clinic space in Bedford to allow space for new services including mental health and physical therapy.
- They provided radiology services at Villisca Family Health Center by installing a CT scanner.
- Purchased equipment for the Pediatric Program in the CMA Clinic
- Purchased patient recliners for the med/surge rooms
- Funded three scholarships for students furthering their education.
- Provided 1,650 shelf-stable meals to Clarinda Community School District elementary and middle school students.

- A total of 97 volunteers worked 2,467 hours in 2022 in support of Partners in Exceptional Care and Clarinda Regional Health Center.
- Six fundraisers are held throughout each year to benefit the hospital.
- Partners in Exceptional Care oversees 8 volunteer committees that exist to benefit the hospital and our surrounding communities.
