Its all about Employment

Established in 2022, our Executive Director recognized a crucial need in the community during employment talks at a local shelter. He observed the challenging transition individuals face from homelessness and addiction to achieving sobriety and pursuing independence. 

It’s All About Employment (IAAE) is dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey to becoming employment-ready, enabling them to work and improve their lives. We collaborate with various agencies in the community to help individuals overcome barriers so they can advance toward their employment goals. Once someone is prepared to seek meaningful work, IAAE connects them with employers to find suitable opportunities. We also provide ongoing support to ensure their success in employment.

 In addition, IAAE offers short-term employment solutions while individuals work toward their long-term goals. We are committed to developing solutions that create opportunities for those we serve. 

Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, our plans include offering training opportunities in food service, residential cleaning, entry-level maintenance, and other entry-level positions. Our ultimate objective is to secure permanent employment for those we assist.

 We recognize that the path to this ultimate goal can be challenging for many. Our community partners play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission. The idea that “it takes a village” is not just a clever saying; it encapsulates our approach to making the most meaningful impact.
