Heartland Hope Mission provides basic necessities and services to help the working poor get back on their feet. We are more than a pantry, providing clients with resources to be food secure and self-sufficient in a hope-filled environment. Families can visit once a month to receive a week’s supply of nutritious food, as well as hygiene items, clothing and household items at no cost to them. Our pantry is client choice, and is set up similar to a grocery store to provide families with choices of: canned and boxed goods, fresh produce, dairy products and milk, bread, frozen meat, hygiene products, clothing, and diapers. Clients work towards becoming self-sufficient by meeting one-on-one with a Client Service Specialist to receive additional resources, assistance with applying for food stamps and employment information. Your donation will help support families in need locally. Please consider making a financial contribution to help provide for our neighbors in need.
- Each year, over 6,000 individuals volunteer at Heartland Hope Mission, totaling over 20,000 hours of community service.
- Heartland Hope Mission bridges the gap between homelessness and self-sufficiency.
- We put 95% of all monetary donations directly into client services.
