Our Mission Statement is: Working cooperatively to identify safe and reliable child care, allowing for future growth in East Mills communities.
East Mills Child Care Solutions is renovating an existing building from its original use as a nursing home into a child care center to be opened in 2025. Located near a new housing development in Malvern and on the new Safe Routes to School walking route, the center will serve up to 136
children ages 6 weeks to 12 years with hours of operation from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Before and after school care will be available. This capital campaign will generate the necessary funds to renovate, furnish, staff, and launch the The Lakin Foundation Child Development Center of East Mills.
In working with campaign donors, East Mills Child Care Solutions requests gifts through partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals, offering high-quality child care to employees of these partners.
Please join East Mills Child Care Solutions with your financial support. YOU are a part of the solution. Together, we will provide more families with access to quality affordable child care.
Businesses will see recruitment and retention costs decline and work productivity increase. The East Mills Community School District will see increased retention of students, staff, and teachers. The East Mills communities of Emerson, Henderson, Hastings, and Malvern will thrive with successful families and businesses.
