What We Do

The Collective for Hope combines the strength of its program brands and co-located services to lead response to loss, elevate the value of grief companionship, and promote healthy survivorship. Our vision is that no one has to grieve alone. The agency provides excellent and compassionate FREE grief support programs as well as professional education and training. The agency strives to level the playing field and mitigate all barriers to accessing support. We support our clients (program participants) and partners (mostly schools and other non-profit agencies) by providing FREE peer support groups (cohort and open), day camps, overnight retreats, and a variety of educational workshops, training sessions, and technical assistance. This is because grieving individuals and families suffer multiple tragedies following the death of someone important to them. Individuals are at increased risk for depression, anxiety, poor school or work attendance, isolation, behavior problems, drug / alcohol abuse, incarceration and suicide. **Support programs have converted to virtual formats with the onset of the pandemic.**
