Assist with bicycle repairs, recovery of usable bicycle parts from donor-bikes. Recycling of bicycles and eventually help us work towards repurposing bicycle parts etc in art, reusable furniture, custom modes of transportation. Teaching and mentoring. At TBROmaha, you will have the opportunity to learn and teach ABC's of bicycles and their repairs. You will also be involved with community activities not limited to repairing of bicycles but also teaching someone to ride for the first time in their life. We have taught kids to adults how to ride. You will become involved with other nonprofits and the work they do with and for children. We are still developing our nonprofit and we desire individuals to be placed on our volunteer list. A few of our requirements are as follows: Pleasant attitude, friendly but not excessive Willingness to learn and teach Ability to lift 40 pounds or ask for help. Provide your own transportation to our shop We work odd hours so flexibility on schedule a little bit and we will work on your availability to help. Willingness to share your thoughts and ideas on what we do.
