Join All Care’s FREE Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Group.
What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based approach to help you learn to cope with life stressors, emotions, and relationships. The skills taught focus on four categories:
- Mindfulness: learning how to be present in the here and now
- Distress tolerance: learning how to get through difficult times without making situations worse
- Interpersonal effectiveness: improving how we communicate with others
- Emotional regulation: how we can identify and better manage difficult emotions
When attending DBT Group, you can expect to learn and practice new skills through discussions, role plays, and media examples.
To reserve your spot, please call All Care Health Center at (712) 325-1990.
The DBT Group meets every Friday from 1-2pm and is led by led by Becky Folks, LISW.
Due to potential discussion topics, DBT group participants must be over 18.
